Elliot Prost
U-17 Head Coach
Elliot Prost joined the Colorado Rapids in November of 2021 and currently serves as the head coach of the Academy U-17 team.
Elliot’s coaching career spans over eight years and includes roles as Technical Director (Rush Soccer), college assistant coach (Fort Lewis College), Director of Coaching (Colorado Rush) and age group leader at IMG Academy (2021).
Elliot has been a head coach in USL League 2, Development Academy and MLS NEXT. He directed club teams to several State Cups, directed Girls Academy teams to playoff berth and in his club experience, has helped the development of over 15 professional players.
Originally from Nevers, France, Elliot's playing career started in his local hometown club (Nevers FC) before moving to Dijon FCO (French L2) to join the professional and residential academy. Elliot played in the top tier of youth football in France between the ages of 14 and 19. Upon graduating from the DFCO Academy, he played a year with the professional reserve in CFA (France 4th division).
In 2015, he graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO with a bachelor's in psychology specialized in athlete performance. At the time, Fort Lewis College Men’s Soccer was the winningest NCAA division II program in the country.
He played for an additional 3 years in the USL/PDL for FC Tucson (USL National Championship elite 8), Albuquerque Sol and Oklahoma Energy (USL National Championship elite 8).
Elliot holds his USSF “B” license.
