Connor Cape joined the Colorado Rapids in the 2018 season as the radio play-by-play broadcaster. In his first season with the club, Cape called all 34 regular season games and co-hosted the Rapids digital pregame show - Rapids Tailgate Live.

Cape has been covering the Rapids for Mile High Sports since he moved to Colorado from Kansas City in May of 2017, and has been working in the radio world since 2012. On his show on Mile High Sports, the Connor Cape Show, he covers the Rapids, Broncos, Rockies, Nuggets, Avalanche, CU Buffaloes and CSU Rams.

Cape got his start as an intern with Sporting Kansas City’s broadcasting and video crew, working with Cal Williams over the course of two semesters. Cape also called soccer and basketball games in college, and has since worked on production teams for the World Series for FOX, NFL on CBS, and NASCAR on NBC.
