Drew Moor, Analyst & Club Ambassador
After retiring from professional soccer following the 2022 season, MLS and club legend Drew Moor will stay on with the club in a multi-faceted role that includes an analyst role for club video content, radio broadcasts and in-game segments.
In his new role, Moor will be a key face of the club’s video content including features around the club’s supporters, traditions and larger Colorado soccer community. He will also provide in-depth analysis alongside Jordan Angeli for the Apple Season Pass platform and club channels.
Moor retired from the league in 2022 with two MLS Cups, including one with the Rapids in 2010. The former defender played 18 seasons overall including 10 in Colorado and claimed a Supporters’ Shield and three Canadian Championships along with his two MLS titles.
"It’s exciting to stay with a club that I have so much love and respect for and a group of men and women that I have so much love and respect for, as well," Moor said. "Although I’m moving into a new role with their broadcast team I feel like my knowledge of the club can help me do well in this position. I can’t wait to get started, bring good, positive energy, tell a few dad jokes, and continue to express my love for the Rapids."
Drew also occupies a position with the Rapids' Academy as an Elite Development Coach, providing expert level coaching & support for high potential players identified within the guidelines established by the Colorado Rapids, Major League Soccer and US Soccer.
