All three senior Development Academy teams were involved in midweek games at Real Colorado last Wednesday, and all three emerged victorious by the same scoreline, 2-0.
Matthew Hundley and Enoch Mushagalusa were again among the goals for the U-18/19s. The U-16/17s triumphed through goals from Logan Dorsey and Oliver Larraz, while Samuel Bassett bagged both for the U-15s.
On Sunday, the U-16/17s faced Colorado Rush, and won 1-0 thanks to Dhani Russell. Abraham Rodriguez kept the clean sheet.
This coming weekend, the three teams travel east for back-to-back games against Sporting Kansas City, on Saturday and Sunday for their final games of the regular season. Sporting KC are just one place both the U-18/19s and U-16/17s in the standings, in third, with the playoffs looming.
Elsewhere, and the U-14s were comfortable winners over FC Boulder and Pride Switchbacks DA this past weekend. Alan Salgado was among the goals, grabbing a hat-trick at the Switchbacks.
Two goals from Zackary Salfi and one from Ernesto Carbajal allowed the U-13s a 3-1 win over FC Boulder on Saturday. Oscar Salgado struck twice on Sunday, at the Switchbacks, in a 3-1 victory. The other goal came from Jacob Lahlou.
The two U-12teams enjoyed three wins from their four games. On Saturday, the A team tied FC Boulder 1-1, with the B team claiming an 8-1 victory - Theo Scott scored four. The following day, wins over the Switchbacks, 5-3 and 2-0 respectively. Theo Scott stepped up to the A team, and hit a hat-trick in their game.
