Aurora's Armstrong: "I was hoping to represent my city by playing well"

Davy Armstrong make his home debut against Swansea City

Colorado Rapids homegrown player and Aurora, Colo. native made home debut in the 2-1 win over Swansea City:

On emotions coming into this game:
"I was just trying to be as calm as I could be. I remember how I was back in Metapán [in the CONCACAF Champions League], I was freaking out. I feel like I matured more as a player, I was able to keep calm, keep cool."

On making another debut against an international team:
"It was great. I couldn’t ask for two better games to play in. It was a great experience."

On being from Aurora after Friday’s tragedy:
"My thoughts and prayers are going out to all the families and friends affected by that event.  It was good. [I was] hoping to represent my city by playing well. It was great, it was great to get out there."
