Axel Sjöberg has been named to the MLS Team of the Week following Sunday’s 1-0 win over Western Conference rivals Real Salt Lake. 

During Sunday’s win against RSL, the Swedish central defender recorded 11 clearances, four interceptions and four defensive blocks. 

The Rapids will play their final game of the 2017 regular season on Sunday, October 22, as they travel to CenturyLink Field to square off against the Seattle Sounders FC with kickoff scheduled for 2 p.m. MT (Altitude).
