Rapids midfielder Mark-Anthony Kaye was named to Canada Soccer's Men's National Team for the side's three upcoming matches on Wednesday afternoon.
Included in the June schedule is the 2022-23 edition of Concacaf Nations League. The international team will regroup next month for the first time since qualifying for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 for a friendly and first Nations League game at BC Place in Vancouver before heading to San Pedro Sula, Honduras for their second Nations League matchup.
Kaye has started 25 of 34 games with his national squad since his international debut in 2017. The Rapids midfielder recorded two goals and seven assists in that time, and made history with his country in March when Canada qualified for the World Cup for the first time in 36 years.
Canada will face Iran on June 5 at BC Place Stadium at 5:00 p.m. MT before starting Concacaf Nations League play by taking on Curaçao at the same venue on June 9 at 8:30 p.m. The side will then travel to San Pedro Sula on June 13 to play Honduras at Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano at 8:00 p.m. for their second Concacaf Nations League match of the month.
