The votes are in! Cole Bassett is your Colorado Rapids HealthONE Player of the Month for October.
The 17-year-old midfielder made his first MLS start on October 13 against Minnesota United FC and opened some eyesamong Rapids fans and across the league by capturing MLS Team the of the Week honors twice during the month. He earned his third career start on October 28 against FC Dallas and notched his first MLS goal in the 2-1 win becoming the youngest player in club history to score a goal in the process.
Overall, Bassett made appearances in all four games this month, he played a total of 280 minutes, created three chances, completed 165 passes with a 83.64 percent accuracy and made 30 defensive plays (duels, tackles, blocks, interceptions and clearances).
