Colorado Rapids acquire Philadelphia natural second-round pick in the 2025 SuperDraft in exchange for rights to goalkeeper Oliver Semmle

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The Colorado Rapids announced today the club has acquired Philadelphia Union’s natural second-round pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft in exchange for the college-protected rights to goalkeeper Oliver Semmle.  

The Au am Rhein, Germany, native was selected by Colorado with the 41st-overall pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft on Dec. 2, 2023. Semmle spent 2023 with Louisville City FC of the USL Championship.  

TRANSACTION: The Colorado Rapids acquire a second-round pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft from the Philadelphia Union in exchange for the college-protected rights to goalkeeper Oliver Semmle, on Jan. 31, 2024.
