COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The Colorado Rapids announced today the club has acquired Philadelphia Union’s natural second-round pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft in exchange for the college-protected rights to goalkeeper Oliver Semmle. Â
The Au am Rhein, Germany, native was selected by Colorado with the 41st-overall pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft on Dec. 2, 2023. Semmle spent 2023 with Louisville City FC of the USL Championship. Â
