The Colorado Rapids announced today that the club and Juan Ramirez have agreed to mutually terminate the midfielder’s contract.
In his first and only season in MLS, Ramirez appeared in 27 matches (15 starts) while adding a goal and three assists for the Rapids. His only tally of the 2015 campaign came in the final play of the 3-1 home victory over Real Salt Lake, which ultimately proved to be the difference in the quest for the Rocky Mountain Cup.
The Argentine midfielder joined Colorado as a Young Designated Player on February 20, 2015 from Argentinos Juniors.
