COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The Colorado Rapids announced today their schedule for the 2021 Major League Soccer regular season.
Colorado will kick off their 26th MLS campaign on Saturday, April 17, against FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium (5 p.m. MT), before returning home to host Austin FC at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park on April 24 for what will be the expansion side’s second-ever MLS match (7 p.m. MT).
The Rapids will play 34 regular-season matches in 2021—17 at home and 17 on the road. Due to travel considerations around the COVID-19 pandemic, teams will mainly play intra-conference opponents during the 2021 season. Notable dates on the Rapids’ schedule include a Fourth of July matchup against Seattle Sounders FC, three meetings in the Rocky Mountain Cup series against Real Salt Lake (July 24 at RSL, Aug. 21 at home & Oct. 16 at RSL) and a Decision Day home clash against Los Angeles Football Club on Nov. 7. The three Eastern Conference teams the Rapids will face include FC Cincinnati (June 19 at FCC), Toronto FC (Sept. 25, at home) and New England Revolution (Oct. 27 at NE). The team’s full schedule is available at ColoradoRapids.com/schedule.
Rapids games will be broadcast live on the Altitude Sports network and programming information will be announced at a later time.
