Colorado Rapids defender Bobby Burling has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
As a result, the 31-year-old center back is expected to be absent for up to five weeks.
“We have the best defensive record in MLS this season and Bobby has played a major part in achieving that,” says Paul Bravo, Technical Director and VP of Soccer Operations. “We chose to have this surgery at the start of the break for Copa America and we hope to have Bobby fully fit as we push for the playoffs later this season.”
Everyone at the Colorado Rapids wishes Bobby a speedy recovery.
