Rapids defender Kortne Ford underwent successful knee surgery today at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Ford will return to Denver immediately to begin his rehabilitation process.
The 24-year-old defender signed a Homegrown contract in 2017 and became the first Rapids Homegrown player to earn a spot in the starting XI on their professional debut when given the nod at Western Conference rival Sporting Kansas City. Overall, Ford has played in 35 fixtures with the Rapids and scored one goal.
