COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Colorado Rapids goalkeeper William Yarbrough has undergone a successful procedure on his right knee to address a tear in his meniscus, the club announced today. The two-time Liga MX champion is expected to be sidelined between six to eight weeks as he rehabilitates from the procedure.
Yarbrough, 34, is currently tied for fifth-most shutouts in MLS this season (7). The Aguascalientes, Mexico, native leads the Rapids all-time in clean sheets (33), while ranking in the top three all-time in saves (318), appearances by a goalkeeper (101) and wins by a goalkeeper (37).
