Colorado Rapids Soccer Club announced today that midfielder Johan Blomberg has joined GIF Sundsvall of the Swedish Allsvenskan on loan for the remainder of his contract.
“We would like to thank Johan for his service to the Rapids over the last two seasons. We wish him nothing but the best as he continues his career in Sweden” Executive Vice President & General Manager Padraig Smith said.
Blomberg appeared in 27 games, 22 from the start since joining the club ahead of the 2018 season.
Next up for the Rapids is a clash with Minnesota United FC at Allianz Field, where kickoff is set for 6:00 PM MT on Wednesday, August 14.
