Colorado Rapids Soccer Club announced today that Cole Bassett and Sebastian Anderson have been loaned to Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC of the USL Championship (USL). Under the terms of the loan agreement, the Rapids retain the right to recall Bassett and Anderson at any point during the remainder of the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.
Bassett, 18, has currently appeared in 16 MLS games and notched a goal and two assists so far this season. The Littleton, Colorado native signed a Homegrown contract on August 10, 2018.
Anderson, 17, became the youngest player in club history to make his MLS debut on April 27, 2019. He scored his first professional goal on July 20, 2019 against NYCFC.
Colorado takes on Real Salt Lake tomorrow at Rio Tinto Stadium with kickoff slated for 8:00 PM MT.
