Colorado Rapids Soccer Club announced today that defender Sam Raben has been loaned to Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC of the United Soccer League (USL). Per the Right of Recall incorporated in the loan agreement, the Rapids retain the right to recall Raben at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.
Raben, 21, signed a one-year homegrown contract with the Rapids on January 11. Prior to signing with Colorado, he played four years at Wake Forest University where he would play in every minute (8,187) of every game (91) during that time.
