Colorado Rapids Soccer Club announced today that goalkeeper John Berner has been loaned to Phoenix Rising FC of the United Soccer League (USL).
Per the Right of Recall incorporated in the loan agreement, the Rapids retain the right to recall Berner at any point during the remainder of the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.
Berner becomes the fourth Rapids player to go on loan this season. He will join midfielder Sam Hamilton in Phoenix, while defender Dennis Castillo and forward Caleb Calvert remain with Charlotte Independence.
