Following the Rapids' draw against the Impact, Colorado forward Shkëlzen Gashi was selected for the MLS's Team of the Week.
The 6-foot Swiss native came to the Rapids from FC Basel of the Swiss Super League, where he scored 25 goals since his arrival to the club prior to the 2014 season. This season, Gashi has scored two goals in eight caps for the Rapids.
In Colorado's 2-2 draw against Montreal, Gashi scored the first of two equalizers in the game for the Rapids, with the win propelling the Rapids into the top spot in the Western Conference and Supporters' Shield rankings. Along with the goal, Gashi picked up an assist on the game-tying goal.
