The Rapids return home to face bitter rivals Real Salt Lake at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park for the final installment of the three-game series.
Axel Sjöberg is out for the game as he continues to recover from a sprained MCL he suffered on August 4. Sjöberg missed both LA games and has now missed three consecutive games. Sjöberg returned to training this week but remains 2-3 weeks away from full recovery.
Sam Nicholson (back) and Kortne Ford (concussion protocol) are listed as questionable.
Giles Barnes (ankle), Edgar Castillo (hip/groin), Jack McBean (foot), and Jack Price (back) are all listed as probable to feature tonight.
Real Salt Lake will be without defender Tony Beltran (right knee surgery), midfielder Jordan Allen (knee surgery), goalkeeper Alex Horwath (Achilles surgery), midfielder Luke Mulholland (back injury), defender David Horst (Achilles surgery), forward Ricky Lopez-Espin (knee surgery), and goalkeeper Connor Sparrow (knee injury).
Questionable for RSL tonight are defender Marcelo Silva (ankle injury), goalkeeper Nick Rimando (hamstring injury), and midfielder Pablo Ruiz (knee injury).
Tonight’s game kicks off at 7:00 PM MT and will be broadcast on local outlets Altitude TV, Altitude AM 950 (English) and La Invasora 87.7 FM (Spanish).
