Colorado Rapids Soccer Club will face the San Jose Earthquakes at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park tonight at 7:00 PM.
Giles Barnes is out for the game as he continues to rehab his ankle. He missed last week’s game against the LA Galaxy due to the injury he suffered on July 14. In addition to Barnes, defender Axel Sjöberg is also out against the Quakes. The Swede went off injured in the 29th minute against the Galaxy after injuring his knee.
Jack McBean (Achilles) is listed as probable to feature tonight, while midfielder Shkëlzen Gashi is listed as questionable due to an Achilles injury. Kip Colvey continues to be monitored under concussion protocol and is also questionable.
San Jose Earthquakes will be without defender Kevin Partida (right ACL reconstruction surgery and partial meniscectomy).
Tonight’s game will be broadcast on local outlets Altitude TV, Altitude AM 950 (English) and La Invasora 87.7 FM (Spanish).
