The votes are in! Edgar Castillo is your Colorado Rapids HealthONE Player of the Month for August. This marks Castillo's fourth consecutive month winning the honors.
The 31-year-old delivered three crucial assists during the games in August. He also tallied his third goal with a thunderbolt in the 2-2 draw against the Galaxy in LA. The Las Cruces, New Mexico native made five appearances playing a total of 450 minutes, all from the start. Overall, Castillo created five chances in 229 passes and ranked first among his teammates in defensive actions as he made 72 defensive plays (duels, tackles, blocks, interceptions and clearances).
