Gameday Guide | Everything you need to know ahead of our Retro Ski-themed Home Opener against FC Dallas

SOCCER IN COLORADO IS BACK!

This season's Home Opener is one you won't want to miss! We've got everything on deck to make the first MLS game of the year unforgettable, including giveaways, an aprĆØs ski-themed block party and a costume contest with prizes that'll make you want to hit the slopes ASAP šŸ‘€

Before we get into Saturday's timeline here are a few things to know as we kick off what is sure to be a stunner of a season in burgundy! ā¬‡ļø

Download the Rapids App

  • Download the new Colorado Rapids app, your one-stop shop for gameday, news and information around the Burgundy Boys.
  • For the best possible experience at DICKā€™S Sporting Goods Park, fans should create a profile, connect their Ticketmaster account and turn on notifications before arriving.
  • Rapids Season Ticket Members can access their Member Badge within the app.
  • Learn more about the Rapids App here & download it from the App Store and Google Play today!

Rideshare Lot Location Change

  • To make it easier on drivers and more seamless for fans, the Rapids Rideshare Lot is moving away from the 2024 location outside of Gate G.
  • Fans should now exit through Gate G on the west side of the stadium, head west, straight down 60th and the Rideshare Lot will be on the left in Lot H.

The South Bank Supportersā€™ Section

  • The supportersā€™ section at DSGP is now called the South Bank.
  • The name, chosen through a supporter-led, community-driven process, draws inspiration from famous supportersā€™ sections worldwide while reflecting the Colorado culture that is engrained in the Rapids brand and stadium on gamedays.
  • New branding and signage will be installed above the South Bank, designed by C38 and drawing inspiration from the iconic archway in the city of Golden.

30th Season Celebration

  • The club will install a new commemorative wallscape highlighting 30 seasons of Colorado Rapids soccer on the south side of DSGP, near Gate E. The installation will serve as a visual tribute to the players, fans, and moments that have defined the clubā€™s three decades in MLS.
  • As the 30th season unfolds, additional announcements will be made, including limited-edition fan giveaways, exclusive retail collaborations with adidas, and special events.

The North Boundary

  • NEW this season ā€“ ALL fans will be able to access the Gondola at the bottom of the North Boundary stairwell. Head down to snap a photo for Instagram!

Retail

  • The Rapids have partnered with global premium experiences company, Legends, to create a best-in-class shopping experience for fans.
  • Legends will have the exclusive rights to manage, operate, sell, and distribute Rapids merchandise and will operate the ā€˜Official Team Store,ā€™ which will continue under the Altitude Authentics name.
  • Fans can look forward to an expanded product assortment and an enhanced customer experience.

Pregame Activities

AprĆØs Ski-Themed Block Party at The Dales Bar | 5:30 p.m.

  • No need to head down I-70 for your next aprĆØs happy hour, we've got you covered pregame at The Dale's Bar! Get some drinks, check out our special slope-style photo op and watch other games from around the league on our big screen.
  • Grab a bite to eat from Taco Bron food truck, a fan favorite back in 2025!
  • The Colorado Rapids are excited to partner with Oskar Blues to offer a limited-edition Daleā€™s x Rapids Beer Crowler. You can only get this new item in stadium, available at The Daleā€™s Bar for $15.
  • Note: Stadium entry directly through The Daleā€™s Bar or adjoining Gate D will not be available due to the updated Block Party footprint. Fans should enter The Block Party through Gate E.
  • The Dale's Bar will be open throughout the match and one hour postgame. After the final whistle stop by for a 12 oz beer for $5 and catch Oliver Larraz to say hi and get an autograph!

Park Everything Lot Opens | 5:30 p.m.

  • Fans that live near DSGP are encouraged to use the Park Everything Lot outside Gate B! Strollers, scooters, wagons, bikes, and other wheeled vehicles will be accommodated at the Park Everything Lot and secured by stadium security for the entirety of gameday.

Rapids Rideshare Lot Opens

  • Located on west side of the stadium, the Rapids Rideshare Lot operates as fans' drop-off and pick-up location on gameday for a safer and more convenient way to catch their ride home. This year, the Rapids Rideshare Lot has relocated next to Lot H on E 60th Ave--Check out it's new location on the interactive mapp within the Rapids App.

All Gates Open | 6:30 p.m.

  • Costume Contest: Dress in your retro ski best to compete for the costume contest on Saturday! Best dressed on Saturday have the chance to win a pair of custom Icelantic skis or Never Summer snowboards, courtesy of Oskar Blues, Copper Mountain lift passes, and more! The winners will be announced during halftime.
  • Be one of the first 500 fans in the gates to get your hands on your new favorite pair of sunglasses--built for the slopes and perfect to channel some 80's ski vibes šŸ˜Ž
  • As always, don't forget to grab your very own chant card and roster card on your way in!
    • One lucky fan will receive a roster card with a golden sticker to redeem for a special prize at that specific game! The winner on Saturday will receive an autographed One Flag kit, available to pick up at Guest Services!
  • Fans that stopped by our Headwaters pop-up at the Banshee House last week and ordered a customized kit can now pick it up at the stadium! Stop by Section 129 to grab yours on Saturday. If you're a Season Ticket Member and didn't get a chance to grab a 2025 member badge, come to Section 129 to pick one up and get it pressed to your own scarf, jersey or other item!
  • While you wait for the game to start, visit any of our cashless concessions stands, official team stores, or The Dale's Bar! Make sure to be in your seat at least 20 minutes before kickoff to view all the pyro, videos and, most importantly, welcome the team to the pitch as part of the pregame procession.

Pregame Procession & Anthem | 7:25 p.m.

  • BE IN YOUR SEATS for the pregame countdown to kickoff!
  • Don't miss C38's iconic tifo in the newly-named South Bank, located in the pre-existing south end sections of 117 and 118.

KICKOFF vs DALLAS | 7:30 p.m.

In-Game Activities

  • Pizza vs French Fry Relay Race ā›·: If you know, you know. Keep your eyes on the pitch during halftime to catch our pizza vs french fry relay race on the field!
  • RapidMan Meet & Greet presented by DICK'S Sporting Goods: From the start of halftime until the 75th minute head to Section 134 to snap a photo with the best mascot in MLS, RapidMan--in his very own retro ski suit
  • When we score, you score! If the Rapids score in the first half fans can enter to win a free kit and submit their info . The winner will receive a One Flag kit, available to pick up Guest Services.

Postgame

Player Appearance in The Dale's Bar

  • Head over to The Dale's Bar to hang out with Oliover Larraz, grab some pictures and get autographs signed!
  • The Dale's Bar will remain open one-hour post-match and feature a 12oz draft beer for $5 (limit 2 per transaction/valid ID).

Hear from the Boss

  • The Rapids will livestream the postgame press conference on the clubā€™s YouTube page immediately following the match. Catch the postgame commentary from Head Coach Chris Armas and a player at YouTube.com/ColoradoRapids.

Rapids Rideshare Lot

  • Remember to use the new Rideshare Lot to get home safely!
