December 15th: 2022 Concacaf Champions League Draw
The formal 2022 Concacaf Champions League Draw will take place in Miami, Florida. The fate of the five MLS teams’ schedules, including the Rapids, will be determined by blind draws.Â
February 15th- May 5th: 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League
Following the standard Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Final formatting, the Champions League tournament will commence in February and end in May. Specific dates for games will be available after the December 15th official draw but additional details on the tournament itself can be found here.
February 26th: Season Opener at LAFC
The 2022 MLS season is slated to have the earliest start date in league history. For their first matchup of the regular season, the Rapids will travel to Banc of California Stadium to take on LAFC at 1:30 MT.
March 5th: Home Opener vs Atlanta United FC
The following weekend, the Rapids will open their home account against Atlanta United at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park. Kickoff is set for 4:00 MT.
October 9th: Decision Day
With the FIFA 2022 World Cup beginning in November, MLS's Decision Day ahead of the MLS Cup playoffs will take place on Oct. 9 to give the months of October and November to playoff competition ahead of international play.
November 5th: MLS Cup
