The Rapids face the New England Revolution today in the team's second MLS test of the preseason. This is Colorado's first of two matches this week, with the next coming against Chicago Fire FC in a ticketed game on Saturday. The club will look to work on shape and cohesion, as newcomers like Designated Player Younes Namli and Nicolas Benezet gain fitness and continue working with the team. The match will feature a standard format, with two 45-minute halves.

7' - GOAL - Damian Rivera scores as the Revolution take an early 1-0 lead.
9' - CHANCE - Mezquida makes space on the right side, sends the ball far post and finds Lewis, who misses wide.
10' - SAVE - Rawls provides a big stop early in the contest.
13' - SHOT - Kelly gets an interception high upfield and plays a through ball to Shinyashiki whose shot is saved by the keeper.
19' - GOAL - The Rapids have a turnover in the final third, and the Revolution make the score 2-0. Colorado has had its share of chances but have yet to find the back of the net.
21' - CHANCE - Rubio has a header off a corner deflected just wide.
26' - SHOT - Rubio, Bassett and Lewis connect up the field and find Mezquida at the near post, but his shot is saved.
30' - SUBSTITUTION- Sebastian Anderson comes in for Rubio.

45' - SUBSTITUTION - Jack Price enters the match for Fidalek and Clint Irwin for Rawls to start the second half.
51' - CHANCE - The Rapids get two chances early in the second half. Price's corner kick finds Trusty on the far post who misses over. Moments later, Lewis fires home a shot that requires a big save from New England's Jeff Caldwell.
53' - GOAL - The Revolution get another goal to make the score 3-0.
57' - GOAL - After a buildup from Trusty and Shinyashiki, Anderson sends a low cross from the right side to Lewis who hits the back of the net. The score is now 3-1 with the Revolution in front.
60' - SUBSTITUTION - Colorado and New England both change out nearly their entire lineups. The new XI for the Rapids is as follows (right to left): Irwin, Keegan Rosenberry, Lalas Abubakar, Drew Moor, Sam Vines, Younes Namli, Jack Price, Kellyn Acosta, Sam Nicholson, Kei Kamara, Nicolas Benezet.
63' - SHOT - Right after coming on the field, Acosta fires a shot that's saved by Caldwell.
66' - SHOT - Namli sets up Vines, but the shot is saved by the 'keeper,
