Cole Bassett has been named to the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi following Sunday's win over FC Dallas.
The 17-year-old midfielder has made a name for himself in the last month. He earned his first MLS start on October 13 in Minnesota, and this Sunday against Dallas he made his first start at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park. Bassett scored his first MLS goal in front of the Rapids faithful and became the youngest player in club history to score a goal. Overall, Bassett recorded 56 passes and made eight defensive plays (duels, tackles, blocks, clearances, interceptions).
