The Rapids had two players named to the MLS Team of the Week after a 3-3 draw against the Portland Timbers on March 2.
MLS veteran midfielder Benny Feilhaber opened his 2019 account when he scored just one minute after halftime to equalize the game at 2-2. Overall, the 34-year-old midfielder distributed 34 passes and made 18 defensive actions (duels, blocks, clearances, interceptions).
Tim Howardalsohad a stellar performance in the snow. In the first half, the Secretary of Defense made two crucial saves denying Sebastián Blanco and Andy Polo. Overall, Howard notched five saves and had a 62.50 percent save to shot ratio.
The Rapids return to action this Saturday against Seattle Sounders FC at CenturyLink Field. Kickoff is slated for 8:00 PM MT. (Altitude)
