Jack Price has been named to the bench for MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi following Saturday's 2-0 victory over Toronto FC.
The Englishman got his name on the scoresheet less than 90-seconds into the game. The midfielder drilled a long-range shot past TFC 'keeper Clint Irwin to give the Rapids a 1-0 lead at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park.
“I know I’d had hit it sweet, so I was hoping the keeper didn’t have a really good view on it," said Price. "I saw it hit the net and it was gone.”
The Rapids have now won two in a row at home and are unbeaten in four straight overall. Next up is a trip to Utah on Saturday, April 21 as they square off against Rocky Mountain Cup rivals Real Salt Lake with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 PM (Altitude).
