Tim Howard has been named to the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi following Saturday's 2-2 draw against Western Conference rivals Sporting Kansas City.
The Secretary of Defense denied two shots from Gutiérrez, Shelton, Croizet and one from Espinoza. Howard's seven-save performance tied his personal record of most saves in one game with the Colorado Rapids. The last time he saved seven shots on goal was against Real Salt Lake on October 10, 2017.
Howard and the Rapids return to DICK'S Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, March 31 as they square off against Philadelphia Union with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 PM (Altitude).
