This season the club launched the first-ever commemorative match poster series which gives local artists the opportunity to have their work featured. This Saturday’s match poster was designed by local graphic designer, Jordan Rothrock.
Each unique poster will be available to purchase at the stadium on matchday only. All proceeds from the poster series will benefit KSE Charities.
About the artist
Jordan Rothrock is a 2010 graphic design graduate from McPherson College. After receiving his degree, he worked with several companies in their design departments, and has continued to do freelance work whenever possible.
In 2012, he made the move to Denver where he has found success designing for a wide variety of clients, including sporting events, local restaurants and Denver Public Schools. To view more of his work, check out his online portfolio by clicking HERE.
Inspiration for the design
“I thought it was time that Badji be featured since he is the team’s leading goal scorer this season,” Rothrock said. “I wanted to keep it pretty simple and raw, so I decided to do a high contrast between the burgundy and white to give it a high energy look.”
Posters will be available to purchase this Saturday for only $10 at Burgundy Blvd and Section 129.
