Just coincidence. I like playing here though, that’s for sure. I just like winning more than anything and it’s nice to score goals and contribute to the win overall.
On how big the result is for the team…
There was pressure, honestly, to get back to winning games. It had been a while since we had won games and we were starting to feel it, but we had a great week of practice, emphasized that we need to attack, we need to score goals, and we need to get a win to get back on track and I’m happy that we were able to do that tonight.
On if not having big-name players on the pitch affects his performances…
It honestly doesn’t matter. We all train during the week as hard as the Starting XI, so everybody is ready to contribute if you’re coming off the bench or if you’re starting, and my name got called today and I was just ready to do it.
On his thought process as he received the ball before his goal…
That defender was biting hard all night so I knew that if I sucked him into the ball and just let it run, I’d get past him, and then I used my speed to push it past him. Once in front of goal, I just honestly looked for the target and hit it as hard as I could with my right.
