Recap: Rapids Extend Unbeaten Run, Drop FC Dallas 2-0

Lalas Abubakar and Michael Barrios scored to lift the Colorado Rapids (7-3-3, 24 points) to a 2-0 win over FC Dallas (2-7-5, 11 points) on Wednesday at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park. Abubakar’s headed goal was his first of the season and came in the 48th minute off a Jack Price corner delivery. Barrios scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season with a hard right-footed shot to the far post in the 55th minute. Colorado earned its sixth clean sheet of the season, tied for the most in MLS. The Rapids extend their home scoring streak to 32 consecutive MLS matches, the longest active streak in MLS and tied for the fifth-longest in league history. The Rapids are now unbeaten in their last seven games at DSGP.
