- Saturday night will see multiple player reunions--Lalas Abubakar returns to DICK'S Sporting Goods Park for the first time since his move to FC Dallas in the offseason, while new Dallas striker Lucho Acosta will find old FC Cincinnati teammates Awaziem, Murphy and Calvin Harris on the Colorado pitch!
- Cannon, a FC Dallas Homegrown, will take on his former team for the first time since returning to the league. He spent three seasons with the club, making 75 appearances in that time.
- Rapids 2 defender Anderson Rosa has been called up on another Short-Term Agreement for the home-opening match. In accordance with the 2025 MLS Roster Rules and Regulations, a club may sign a player, age 25 or younger during the league season, from its affiliate (MLS NEXT Pro) to a maximum of four Short-Term Agreements (up to four-day contracts) each season (maximum of 16 days).
- After making his club and CCC debut against LAFC earlier in the week, Alex Harris has the opportunity to come off the bench and make his MLS debut on Saturday night.
