Notes
- Saturday’s match will be the second and final time the Rapids cross paths with the Portland Timbers in the regular season this year. It will mark their 27th-ever encounter in MLS and 13th-ever at Providence Park. The Rapids are unbeaten in their last six regular season matches against the Timbers (3-0-3) and have not lost at Providence Park since Sept. 8, 2018 (1-0-2).
- With his goal against NYCFC last weekend, Rapids forward Michael Barrios became the fifth active player in MLS to record at least 40 career goals and 50 career assists in the regular season. Only 29 players have reached that figure since the inception of the league in 1996.
- The Rapids will be without defender Lalas Abubakar and midfielder Bryan Acosta on Saturday as they will miss the trip to Portland due to suspension from yellow card accumulation. Abubakar has helped the Rapids post five shutouts this season; Acosta has completed 282 passes and has kept an 86% passing completion rate in 2022.
- GK William Yarbrough is one shutout away from surpassing Tim Howard for fourth-most clean sheets in Rapids history. His six shutouts so far this season are T-2nd in MLS. The two-time Liga MX champion is also one win away from tying Howard and Joe Cannon for fourth-most wins in Rapids history (29).
