Dillon Serna spent eight months on the sidelines, having suffered a season-ending injury on June 29, 2016 in a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup game at FC Dallas. Last Saturday the Homegrown talent played the final 11 minutes of the 1-0 win over New England Revolution - his first minutes on a soccer field since that difficult day at Dallas.
