The U.S. Men's National Team has hosted four matches in Colorado, posting a 3-1-0 record while averaging 29,427 fans.
The USMNT match on March 22, 2013 versus Costa Rica will be the second World Cup Qualifying held in Colorado, and first since the U.S. defeated Guatemala in final match of the Semifinal Round of CONCACAF qualifying, also at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
When that match was played in 2008, the U.S. had already secured their passage to the next phase, making it less desirable. This time around, the match verus Costa Rica has much more significance since it'll be the first home game of the final round of Qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
