Nominees for the Colorado Rapids HealthONE Player of the Month are here! The three names up for the award this month are Dominique Badji, Tim Howard and Johan Blomberg.

Dominique Badji proved to be the difference for the Rapids in a 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Union on March 31, as he notched the first hat trick of his career and the club’s first since 2011. Badji also scored the first home goal of the season against Sporting Kansas City on March 24. So far, Badji's four-goal tally is tied for second in MLS behind Josef Martinez and Gyasi Zardes.
Meanwhile, Johan Blomberg has proven to be an offensive threat in his first three appearances. The Swede delivered the helper on rookie Niki Jackson’s goal against New England, and assisted on Badji’s third goal against Philadelphia. In all, Blomberg completed 57 passes, had eight crosses, 19 recoveries and interceptions and won 32 duels.
The final nominee for HealthONE Player of the Month is none other than Tim Howard. The captain's best outing in March tied his personal best (in MLS) of seven saves in the match against SKC. Overall, Howard played 170 minutes, earned a clean sheet against Philadelphia, had a total of 10 saves and a 74 percent saves-to-shot ratio.
