Rapids captain Jack Price earned himself a spot on the Week 26 MLS Team of the Week bench for his performance in Colorado’s 1-1 draw against Vancouver on Sunday.
Colorado’s Set Piece King served up his ninth assist of the season, and Colorado’s eighth goal from a corner kick, when he found Danny Wilson for the opening goal. Price played a full 90 minutes and completed a game-high 93 percent of his passes as the Rapids inched up the Western Conference table with the point.
It was Price’s 29th assist in his four years in Burgundy, tying Ross Paule for third on the club’s all-time list. The Rapids lead MLS with 38 goals off set pieces since 2019.
This is the seventh week in the last nine that the Rapids have had at least one player named to the Team of the Week. The Rapids go into the home stretch of the season in a tight race for first place in the Western Conference, two points behind Sporting KC with a game in hand.
