In the 84th minute of Sunday’s game, Tommy Smith scored a goal to seal a late win over Western Conference rivals FC Dallas. Smith’s header marked the final goal at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park for the 2018 season, and a 23rd for the home side. Each of those 23 goals led to Wells Fargo donating $250 to local youth sports thanks to the 'Goals for Success' program.


Home goals from Badji (6), Smith (4), Castillo (2), Mason (2), Nicholson (2), Acosta (1), Bassett (1), Boateng (1), Boli (1), Gashi (1), McBean (1) and Price (1) meant that a total of $5,750 was donated by Wells Fargo to assist Gold Crown Foundation of Denver in their ongoing commitment to improving the lives of youth through their athletic and enrichment programs in the community.
