Thank you for your interest in covering Rapids home matches during the 2025 season. The Colorado Rapids would like to thank all members of the media who cover the Club. We enjoy working with you and are looking forward to doing so again this season. Should you have any questions about this guide, please contact Emilio Gonzalez at Emilio.gonzalez@coloradorapids.com.

Credentials will be issued on a single-game basis. Please take a moment to read through the information below before completing your credential application. Credential applications for the 2025 season will be available soon.

Credential Application Process:

  • Credentials will be issued on a single-game basis. Please ensure to submit your application no later than 24 hours before kickoff of the requested match.
  • Credentials are reserved for media outlets requiring gameday Press Box and/or Field access to produce editorial coverage. This includes newspapers, TV, radio, and legitimate digital websites adhering to accepted journalistic principles. The Club does not provide credentials for personal social media channel coverage unless previously discussed and approved by the Communications Team.
  • Freelance applications must be endorsed by a direct supervisor confirming the professional need for media access. Personal email addresses (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail) require assignment validation from their outlet.
  • By applying for a credential, media members agree to adhere to strict safety protocols. Failure to comply will result in immediate removal from the venue and potential credential revocation.
  • Credentials MUST be visible and worn at all times. Lost credentials must be reported immediately to Rapids Communications.

Interview Access:

  • Players: Select players will be available on a weekly basis during a media availability window following training. Additional player interviews may be scheduled with advanced notice.
  • Head Coach: Head coach Chris Armas will be available during the media availability window following training, as noted in the team’s weekly training calendar. One-on-one meetings can be arranged by contacting Rapidscommunications@coloradorapids.com.

Training Schedules:

Professionalism:

  • Credentials are not for preferential access, such as autographs or personal requests.
  • Photography access is solely for outlet coverage/usage. Violations will result in immediate credential loss.

Note: Any credentialed individual who does not follow the game day media guidelines is subject to losing their credential and will be asked to leave the stadium grounds immediately.
