Enoch Mushagalusa hit a hat-trick in Houston on Saturday, as the Colorado RapidsU-18/19s won 3-2 at Dynamo Youth in their U.S. Development Academy encounter.
Mushagalusa struck twice within the space of three first-half minutes, only for Dynamo Youth to level with a brace from Adrian Franco Salaverria.
The Rapids had the last word, with Mushagalusa sealing the deal five minutes from the end. There was still time for the home side to have a man sent off, though, with Jorge Arreola Jr. dismissed for a second bookable offense.
This followed a 3-0 home win over Dynamo Youth the previous weekend.
News was not so good for the U-16/17s and U-15s, who both fell 2-0 to Houston Dynamo Youth.
Matt Hundley’s goal was not enough for the U-18/19s the following day, as they were defeated 3-1 by Texans SC Houston.
Elsewhere, the U-16/17s were winners by three goals to two at Texans SC Houston. They came from a goal down to triumph, with second half strikes from Jayson Baca, Oliver Larraz, and Logan Hitzeman.
Sam Bassett scored for the U-15s in their 1-1 tie with Texans SC.
Closer to home, and goals from Alan Salgado (2), Conner Miller, Darren Yapi, Luke Robinson, and Yahir Carreon ensured a comfortable 6-0 win over Real Colorado for the U-14s.
The U-13s were also successful in their Sunday showdown with Real, winning 3-0 thanks to goals from Ezekiel Anderson, Zackary Salfi, and Graham Goodson.
There were mixed fortunes for the U-12s. Tadeo Razo and Jacob Lahlou were on target for the A team in a 3-2 loss to Real, while Simeon Woldeyohannes hit a hat-trick as the B team won 3-1.
