All Development Academy teams were in action this past weekend, led by a 7-3 win for the U-18/19s over Solar Soccer Club at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park.
Overseen by John Davies, the team is now unbeaten in seven games, stretching back to early December. Among the scorers were Matt Hundley (2), Enoch Mushagalusa, Jose Bencomo, Corey Williams, Marco Rios, and Rafael Perez.
The U-16/17s tumbled to a 1-0 loss in their home contest with Solar. They sit second in the standings, with a 13-4-1 record.
Despite finishing the game with 10 men, the U-15s edged Solar 1-0, thanks to a strike from James Doidge just after the interval. Substitute Adan Perez was shown red late on following two cautions.
There were seven different scorers in the U-14s’ win over Arsenal Colorado, including a hat-trick for Maclovio Swett.
For the U-13s, they enjoyed a 5-1 win over Arsenal Colorado. Scorers were Jonah Elstad, Finn Hilty, Graham Goodson, Sureel McCain, and Dylan Galvan. The goal against was the first conceded in five games by the U-13s, with an 18-1 differential.
Both U-12s teams were victorious, claiming 4-0 and 3-0 wins respectively over Arsenal Colorado.
The U-12, U-13, and U-14 teams have two games this coming weekend. They face Colorado Rush on Saturday, and Colorado Storm on Sunday.
For the U-15s, U-16/17s, and U-18/19s, they break until April 7, before resuming with home games against FC Dallas, on the same day that the senior side travels to Frisco for a MLS encounter.
