COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - The Colorado Rapids have declined the option to make Lucas Esteves' loan a permanent transfer and he will return to Palmeiras.
Esteves, 22, originally joined the club midway through 2021 on loan from Brazilian side Palmeiras. During his time with Colorado, Esteves made 44 regular-season appearances, netting two goals and adding three assists across 3,194 minutes played.
