The Rapids had three players named to the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi after the 2-0 victory over Minnesota United FC on October 13.
Cole Bassett rose to the occasion during his first MLS start and helped the Rapids secure valuable road points. The 17-year-old midfielder opened some eyesamong Rapids fans and across the league as he showed a soccer IQ and technical ability well beyond his years. Overall he made 54 passes, completing 75.93 percent of them.
Yannick Boli's beautiful glancing header gave the Rapids a 1-0 lead in the second half, while Marlon Hairston helped deliver the assist to Boli's brilliant near-post strike.
The Rapids return to action this Sunday against the San Jose Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium with kickoff is slated for 3:00 PM. (Altitude 2)
