The club launched The Rapids Poster Series on March 4 at the 2017 home opener. For select matches throughout the campaign, including Friday's match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC, the Rapids will release a limited number of commemorative match posters.
Each unique poster will be available to purchase at the stadium on matchday only. All proceeds from the Rapids Poster Series will benefit KSE Charities.
About the artist
Jordan Rothrock is a 2010 graphic design graduate from McPherson College. After receiving his degree, he worked with several companies in their design departments, and has continued to do freelance work whenever possible.

Inspiration for the design
Rothrock found inspiration from the Rapids players, and the uniqueness of each of their appearances. His goal was to create a full roster image that was, 'minimalist, but identifiable.' He wanted fans to analyze the poster and be able to pinpoint each player based on their basic facial features. To complement the simple illustrations, he added a bold sans font to balance out the rest of the image.
Posters will be available to purchase this Friday for only $10 at Section 129.
