Rapids Academy’s Nathan Tchoumba called into U.S. U-15 Youth National Team camp

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - Rapids Academy player Nathan Tchoumba has been called into the U.S. U-15 Youth National Team for a domestic training camp in November, U.S. Soccer announced. The midfielder will join the national team for the second time this year from November 14-20 in Fayetteville, Georgia, under Head Coach Tom Heinemann.

Tchoumba currently occupies a spot on the club’s U-15 team and has contributed to an undefeated 6-0-0 start to the season in MLS NEXT Flex and a 1-0-0 record in league play. The attacking midfielder has added one goal in 12 games with the U-15s and has earned the right to play up with the U-16s for four matches so far this season.

As a part of the club’s U-14 team during the 2023-24 MLS NEXT season, Tchoumba was a large contributor to the team’s success. He added one goal and three assists across 23 matches last season and also earned the opportunity to play with the U-15 side in 11 matches during the 2023-24 Generation adidas Cup, MLS NEXT Flex and MLS NEXT Cup.
