Stefan Aigner and Kortne Ford have been named among the 18 for the MLS Team of the Week as a result of their performances during Saturday's 1-0 win against Houston Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Aigner, making his second appearance for the club, replaced Mohammed Saeid in the 66th minute and delivered an inch-perfect assist on Dominique Badji’s late match-winner. It was the first MLS assist for the German newcomer.
Ford played a crucial role in keeping a potent Dynamo attack off the scoresheet, recording five clearance, three recoveries, and two interceptions. It was the first time this season that Houston had been shutout in MLS play at home.
