For the first time since departing Montreal Impact at the end of the 2015 season, the Colorado Rapids' defender Eric Miller is likely to lineup against his former club when the two teams meet at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday (TICKETS).
Miller, who made 30 appearances for the Impact across seasons 2014 and 2015, was an unused substitute at Saputo Stadium last year in a match which ended 2-2.
He was in the lineup for Montreal when Piatti made his MLS debut, in a 1-0 home win over Chicago Fire on August 16, 2014. Piatti has since proven himself to be a huge asset to the Canadian side, boasting 47 goals in 90 appearances. The Argentine sits on a career-high equaling 17 goals this season, and his former teammate Miller will be one of those whose role is to prevent him adding to that impressive tally at the weekend.
