2017

  • Named on the 'bench' for the MLS Team of the Week (Week 3) after tallying his first assist of the season in the 2-2 tie with Minnesota United FC (3/18).

2016

  • Now in his 11th season in MLS, Burch chalked-up his 200th regular season appearance against the team that drafted him in 2006, the LA Galaxy, on August 13. The match finished 1-1.
  • Burch had what many consider to have been his most consistent season, during which he set career highs in games started (27) and minutes played (2443).
  • In his previous 10 seasons in MLS, Burch had only once gone beyond 2,000 minutes (2009, when with D.C. United).
  • His 28 appearances has only been bettered once in his previous 10 seasons, when with Seattle Sounders FC in 2012 (29 appearances/19 starts).
  • Burch finished the regular season with three assists, two of which led to game-winning goals.
  • Made MLS Team of the Week on two occasions (Weeks 15 and 22).

2015

  • In his 10th season in Major League Soccer, defender Marc Burch was restricted to just eight appearances in 2015, the fewest since 2010 when at DC United.
  • One of his eight starts came in the Rapids' first home win of the year, a 1-0 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps on May 23. He also featured in the home opener against New York City.
  • The league veteran was a solid option at left back, with the team keeping clean sheets in three of his first four appearances.
  • Burch made his final outing of the season at Vancouver on September 9.

2014

  • Joined the Rapids for the first time in 2014 after previous playing with the Seattle Sounders and D.C. United. 
  • Started in 21 of the 22 games as a defender for the Rapids, contributing three assists on the attacking end.
  • Scored one of the goals of the year, a powerful freekick during the 4-3 home defeat to LA Galaxy (August 20). This was his first goal in MLS since April 29, 2011, when at D.C. United.

2012-2013

  • Contributed a career-high four assists for Seattle, Sounders, starting 19 of 29 games played.
  • Selected by Seattle in re-entry draft, Dec. 12, 2011, and then appeared in a career high 29 MLS matches, fourth most on the team.

2011

  • Made 17 appearances and 11 starts for D.C. United, logging 1,117 minutes. Scored third career goal in loss at Houston.

2010

  • Came back from injury after four starts and played for D.C. United in the U.S. Open Cup semifinal vs. Columbus, but re-aggravated his foot injury and missed the remainder of the season.

  • Started 25 matches and played 2,174 minutes for D.C. United, the most in his MLS career in both categories.

2008

  • Continued his strong performance for D.C. United in the back line played in all but two matches at left back for D.C. United while also contributing three assists to the offense.

  • Was traded to D.C. United for a 2008 supplemental third-round draft pick and became starter at left back after having previously been a striker. Scored first career goal in 4-1 win over Toronto.

  • Selected in the second round (24th overall) in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft by the Los Angeles Galaxy, before being traded to the Columbus Crew in July.

COLLEGE

  • Scored the game-winning goal that secured the national championship for University of Maryland against New Mexico.
  • Previously played at the University of Evansville and was all-Missouri Valley conference pick for three years before transferring.
